Dongmin Chen is a senior lecturer at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Sciences at Peking University. He is the executive director of Guangdong Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory. She has developed and taught four entrepreneurship courses at Peking University since 2012. He leads the planning committee for the development of the university’s innovation ecosystem and the innovation and entrepreneurship education program. He was director of Peking University’s Office of Scientific and Technological Development, which oversees university technology licensing, spin-offs, various incubators, and investment funds. He is a serial entrepreneur and has co-founded two silicon companies.
Dr. Chen was a Sr. Rowland Fellow at Harvard University for 15 years and a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of two Silicon Valley companies. Professor Chen is an international advisor to WIPO’s Global Innovation Index and an honorary advisor and past president of the Chinese American Semiconductor Professional Association. Professor Chen is an associate editor of Applied Physics letter. His research experience includes nanotechnologies, RRAM, MEMS-CMOS integration, wearable sensors, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies. He is co-author of more than 100 scientific publications and 150 U.S. and international patents.
