Luis Serrano

Pioneer in systems and synthetic biology, he is the Director of the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) and an ICREA Research Professor. With PhDs from Madrid and Cambridge, and a tenure as Program Head at EMBL, he has published over 360 articles in journals like Nature and Science. A member of EMBO and the Royal Spanish Academy of Sciences, he specializes in engineering biological systems and has secured prestigious ERC Advanced Grants.
