Patrick Cai

Patrick focuses on the design and synthesis of eukaryotic genomes. With a background in Computer Science and Bioinformatics, he serves as the International Coordinator for the Sc2.0 project to build the first synthetic yeast genome. In addition to his role at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, he co-founded the Edinburgh Genome Foundry and advises international organizations on automated DNA assembly and next-generation biological solutions.
