Odd Erik Hansen

Experienced CEO and advisor specializing in BioSolutions and scale-ups. He works at A-Life, an X, The Moonshot Factory project, which has created an AI platform for optimizing and scaling biomanufacturing. With a track record of leading complex turnarounds and high-growth phases in the SynBio field, he excels at bridging synthetic biology with commercial scale. A former CEO of Oterra and Glycom, he was part of the team at Glycom that scaled and commercialized Human Milk Oligosaccharides made by fermentation. He is also the co-founder of MicroMiner, a sustainable EV battery recycling venture based on synthetic biology, and coaches several young founders in the field. Odd holds an M.Sc. E.E. (Computer Science) from DTU and an MBA from INSEAD.
